Nautica Shipping & Logistics have moved into a newly-developed building on Karangahape Road in Auckland. This rags-to-riches renovation, also the home of Tesla’s showroom and workshop, has elevated the profile of the western end of K’ Rd.

Nautica pride themselves on exceptional customer service, dependability and versatility, so the presentation of their brand at their office needed to reflect these qualities. BIG produced office signage displaying the Nautica logo in three instances. All were router cut for solidity and style.

For street-level presence, one was installed above the main door on a clear acrylic background secured to concrete. Another was pinned off the wall in the corridor beside the internal entrance. The main feature is the welcoming reception sign – back-lit with a glow of LEDs giving life to clean white letters raised off the colour-matched blue wall.

Additionally, Nautica’s meeting room had very special treatment – disguised to look like a very convincing 20ft container! The idea was dreamt up by Nautica, artwork created by BIG, and produced as a full digital print on an ordinary gib wall.
