Belmont Intermediate School wanted to update their appearance with modern roadside signage to provide information on current events and wayfinding for visitors to the school.
We designed, fabricated and installed prominent wayfinding plinths including a practical new digital information screen at the entrance gate on one of the North Shore’s busiest roads. Being located in such a high traffic area, this sign has great exposure so needed clean and simple branding with a highly visible LED screen. The sign is wirelessly connected and programmed so that the message and graphics can be easily and instantly changed out from the headmaster’s office.
This signage family has bull-nosed corners with sleek shades of silver and striking brand elements. The plinths were fabricated from 3mm aluminium sheet and painted with a 2-pot PPG gloss finish, then had digitally printed and vinyl cut graphics applied.
BIG underwent an extensive council bylaw review process to ensure all proposed signage was legal and had the necessary permits before commencing production.
We’ve since heard that the message board sign has been very well received and has attracted interest from other headmasters wanting the same for their school.
