Big vehicle
fleet addition

The behemoth Big Bob is the latest addition to our vehicle fleet, set to dominate the streets of New Zealand.

Now utilised as a nationwide signage transporter, he was refurbished from a standard used commercial Transit van complete with dents and the ghosts of old branding. Big Bob’s appeal was his relatively low kms for a 5-year-old, and enough space for a medium-sized party in the back.

After a paintless dent remover treatment, the bashes that couldn’t be removed were filled and touched up, and the stubborn old logo from the previous owner was cut and polished for a flawless finish. The whole inside of the cab was water-blasted and, to our amazement, we saw the ‘charcoal’ interior come up silver, and the ‘black’ driver’s seat was in fact the same colour as the rest of the upholstery.

Our vibrant, dominant branding was cut and applied, and Big Bob was thereby initiated into the BIG family.

Big Bob wouldn’t be complete without a hazard light bar mounted on the roof, which was scored from TradeMe and fully refurbished from inside out by Blair French. Finally, the addition of LED driving lights ensures safe driving on the open roads of New Zealand. His only problem? Who gets to drive him next…
