Custom 3D printed VIP gift boxes with integrated blacklight LEDs, creating a premium illuminated unboxing experience. 

This project involved the in-house design, development, production, and assembly of a limited-edition VIP gift box created for exclusive guests attending Synthony in the Park.

Our team concepted, prototyped, and produced 30 custom gift units entirely in-house, creating a unique promotional piece that functioned as both a premium gift and a memorable interactive brand experience.

Each unit was designed to hold five notable Mānuka Phuel RTD cans featuring custom fluorescent labels, printed in-house specifically for the activation. The internal display case was custom engineered and 3D printed in-house, then fitted with a clear polycarbonate cover to protect and showcase the cans while allowing maximum visibility of the illuminated effect. 

The standout feature of the gift box was its concealed interactive illumination system. When the inner display case was pulled from its outer sleeve, a hidden micro-switch automatically activated blacklight LED strips mounted at the top and bottom of the case, creating a theatrical reveal. 

These UV LEDs caused the fluorescent labels on the cans to glow dramatically, bringing the branding to life and creating an eye-catching unboxing experience. 

The 3D printed display case was carefully engineered to house three AAA batteries, conceal the wiring and lighting components, and maintain a clean premium finish without visible fixings or exposed electronics. 

The outer sleeve featured the Phuel logo in raised relief, printed directly into the 3D form to add a premium tactile element to the presentation. 

The final result was a highly creative and technically impressive VIP gift box that combined 3D printing, concealed electronics, custom print production, and experiential branding into a unique promotional product.
