Coffin Wraps
We’re proud to share that these three custom coffin designs, produced for Dying Art, have each received a Gold Award in the Specialty Products category at the 2026 Pride In Print Awards.
While they’re very different projects, they all have one thing in common: each was created to reflect the life of the person it was made for. From artwork and gaming to a love of the ocean, every detail was designed to make the farewell more personal.
Receiving Gold at the Pride In Print Awards is wonderful recognition of the care and craftsmanship that goes into every project. More importantly, these pieces show how print can help tell someone’s story in a way that’s personal, respectful and lasting.
A Personal Masterpiece
For this project, we were provided with an original abstract painting created by the person it was honouring.
The artwork was professionally scanned before being carefully reproduced as a coffin wrap. By enlarging sections of the painting and positioning them thoughtfully across the coffin, we were able to stay true to the artist’s original work while showcasing the incredible texture and detail of the painting.
It was a privilege to help preserve their creativity in such a meaningful way.
Celebrating a young gamer
This vibrant design was created for a young person whose family wanted to celebrate the things they loved most.
Using artwork inspired by Fortnite and One Piece, the finished coffin reflected their personality and interests, creating something that felt personal rather than traditional. It became a fitting tribute that friends and family could connect with as they shared memories and celebrated their life.
Inspired by the sea
This cardboard coffin was created for someone who simply loved being on the water.
An ocean wave design wrapped around the coffin, while printed rope details and rope-framed photographs added a personal touch. The combination of imagery and family photos created a design that reflected a lifelong connection with the sea.
