Rebel Sport has recently undergone a branding refresh, strengthened with a bold, clean font. Parent company Briscoe Group chose BIG Ideas to be one of two selected suppliers to produce building signage that packs a punch. Our team is always seeking out a challenge! So our designers tested the boundaries of the brand guidelines to execute the logo with optimal exposure.
Once the designs were approved for the hero stores, this filtered down to a standard signage package for the remaining stores. We then executed a comprehensive nationwide site check and audit. The flagship stores were the first to undergo a makeover and will be followed through to all 40 sites throughout New Zealand.
As with all projects, the key criteria are for building signage to be cost-effective, consistent, prominent, and produced from high-quality products for longevity. The best-performing products for the job are Multiboard PVC and ACM (aluminium cladding). Due to the monstrous size of the logos, there was a fair bit of logistical planning involved for installation.
Along with the Rebel Sport rebrand, BIG was also engaged to revitalise some Briscoes stores with new logo signs. You can rely on BIG to produce signage that is as iconic as Tammy.
