The expansion of the ARC Vets brand was exciting as it was ambitious, with a new state-of-the-art animal hospital in Freemans Bay, Auckland, to coincide with the long serving site on Albany Highway.

A collaborative approach with the creative guys at Design Dairy has turned this amazing site, inclusive of the North Island’s first animal dedicated MRI machine, into a bright yet calming space for animals and owners alike.

Printed frosting ensures privacy where required and ties in with the beautiful interior colour scheme from the talented Josie Love of Josephine Design. Painted acrylic lettering gives a great branding opportunity to the reception area’s double-sided moss wall, and the use of curved lines in all wayfinding softens the clinical space.

Externally, large illuminated signs give the building a definitive presence, particularly at night when accessing ARC’s 24-hour animal hospital emergency services. Precise wayfinding in the shared underground carpark also assists with clients getting their beloved pets to the dedicated ARC team as quickly as possible.
