Takapuna Beachside Cinemas
After a devastating fire and water damage, the Takapuna Beachside Cinemas are up and running again. A new name and a new logo designed by Lime Digital has firmly put the movie theatres back on the scene.
BIG was engaged to come up with visual concepts to promote the new brand at its long-serving location, and produce signage that enhances the building’s new facelift. We colour coded the building to match the blue and gold colourway of their new logo, and created two double-sided 3.5m high projected vertical cinema signs. These were cut-and-replace ACM and acrylic panels, illuminated with cool white LED’s. Logos were cut from 4mm thick ACM and colour-coded to reflect the new look, then installed onsite.
The front doors also had a new graphic look applied to them to continue the brand colours, with the internal elevator doors wrapped in prestigious gold 3M film.

Storage4You
After Mitre 10 moved out, Storage4You moved in, with a huge undertaking of turning one of the largest buildings on the Whangaparāoa Peninsular into a massive storage unit.
We were approached by the client to design a prominent landmark, with our tried-and-true philosophy of large, simple building signage for maximum impact.
With 23 oversized sheets of ACM and 16 hours of continuous routering, the letter formations were completed. Then the colouring process began, and finally the onsite installation by two teams for the best part of a week.
The outcome is a visually impactful storage facility on the peninsula so there is no doubt of your destination.
Namaste to our new neighbours
A warm (and spicy!) welcome to our new neighbours at the front premises, Namaste Indian Supermarket. Once again, we produced prominent building signage to capture attention on the busy Wairau Road, Glenfield. To reflect the delicious authentic ingredients retailing at the large store, we produced window graphics with high-resolution images of mouthwatering Indian spices.
